what to expect

Chiropractic

Your first chiropractic visit will take about an hour, and includes a consultation, exam, and treatment. This initial visit is designed to learn more about you and your condition. You and your chiropractor will work together to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

Your chiropractor will talk with you about your health goals, aches/pains, health history, and body concerns you currently have. Then your chiropractor will do an examination which includes orthopedic tests, ranges of motion, and functional movement assessments. Your chiropractor will talk you through what they observed and what treatment will be best for you. If you agree, your chiropractor will perform the treatment. That may be a chiropractic spinal adjustment, therapeutic exercise, or soft tissue manual therapy. Your chiropractor will share a treatment plan with you that will help you achieve your goals.

Massage

Simply come ready to connect with your body. You will then be introduced to your massage therapist and taken to one of our treatment rooms. On your first visit, you will be asked to describe any physical ailments, as well as activities that alleviate or worsen them. Once your massage therapist has a full understanding of your treatment goals, the massage will begin. Please let your practitioner know if you’d like more or less pressure, changes to the music or temperature in the room.

Even low-speed collisions can create sudden forces on the neck and upper back, which may lead to stiffness, headaches, and soreness in the days that follow. If you’ve recently been in an accident, it’s important to have your spine and soft tissues evaluated so small issues don’t turn into longer-term problems. If something doesn’t feel quite right after an accident, don’t ignore it—getting checked early can make a big difference in recovery.#DivisionChiropractic #WhiplashRecovery #ChiropracticCare #NeckPainRelief #WhatWeSeeInTheOffice
Frequent Flyer Series ✈️ Long flight? Long drive? Frequent Flyer Series ✈️Long flight? Long drive? These simple seated moves can make a big difference. Slow seated neck rolls help ease tension from looking down at phones or sleeping upright. Seated lumbar flexion and gentle rotation keep the low back from stiffening up in one position too long. Add calf raises and ankle rolls to support circulation and reduce that heavy, swollen travel feeling. Small movement breaks = smoother recovery when you land.#DivisionChiropractic #FrequentFlyerSeries #TravelWellness #MoveMoreSitLess #SpineHealth #TravelRecovery
