pediatrics
At Division Chiropractic, we’re experienced in treating patients at every life stage, from all walks of life — including newborns, infants, kids, and teens as they grow, move, and develop.
From your baby’s first few months to the teenage years, we’re here to help kids feel their best through every stage.
Growing Bodies Need Gentle Care
Kids’ bodies are constantly growing and changing, and that can come with its own aches and pains. On top of that, everyday life adds its own bumps and strains, whether it’s from sports, backpacks, screen time, or the usual falls and tumbles. Fortunately, chiropractic care can help your child through it all. We use gentle, age-appropriate techniques tailored to your child’s size and stage, so every visit feels safe and comfortable, whether we’re treating a newborn or a teenager.
What We Can Help With:
- Growing pains and general growth-related discomfort
- Posture concerns, including “tech neck” from phones and screens
- Sports-related aches and minor injuries
- Muscle tension and stiffness
- Headaches
- General mobility and comfort as kids grow
Many parents also bring their infants and young children in for colic, feeding difficulties, torticollis, and digestive discomfort. While every child is different, gentle chiropractic care may help support your little one’s comfort during these early (and sometimes tricky) stages.
How We Help
Care looks different depending on your child’s age. For infants and toddlers, we use light fingertip pressure and gentle, sustained contact — nothing forceful, and no popping or cracking. Your baby may lie on a specially designed pillow, rest in your lap, or stay right in your arms, whatever’s most comfortable. Sessions are short, and we’ll explain what we’re doing every step of the way, so you always know what to expect. As kids grow into their school-age and teen years, we adapt our approach to match their size and activity level.
Every visit is tailored to your child specifically: their age, their size, and their comfort.
We also make a point of really listening to our younger patients, not just talking at them. We’ve worked with plenty of kids who’ve dreaded doctors’ visits in the past, and we take real pride in helping them feel comfortable, heard, and in control of their own care.
Care That Grows With Them
Whether your newborn is having a tough time settling, your child is dealing with a nagging ache, or your teen is recovering from a sports injury, we’re happy to talk it through with you.
