If you’re feeling tight from screen time or slouching, this one’s for you! The combo of chin retraction with rotation and shoulder internal rotation helps release neck tension, improve posture, and restore mobility in those hard-to-reach spots. 🧠💥

Here’s how to try it:
👉 Gently tuck your chin straight back (think double chin!)
👉 While keeping it retracted, slowly rotate your head side to side
👉 Add shoulder internal rotation by bringing one arm behind your back like you're reaching for your opposite back pocket

✨ Why did you join Club Pilates?
"I joined Club Pilates to support my postpartum recovery after having twins. I knew I needed to strengthen my core and glutes to keep up with their growing bodies. I wanted to move pain-free and feel ease in my body throughout the day—both at home and at work. My postpartum body also craved a break from high-intensity workouts that felt jarring on my joints. I’ve been practicing for about three years now, and I’m so grateful for the Club Pilates community. I love that I’ve found a form of movement that’s both beneficial and something I’m genuinely excited to do."

✨ What significant changes/benefits have you seen since starting Pilates?
"I feel confident in my squats and lifting heavy objects! I’ve dealt with on-and-off lower back pain for years, which limited my mobility in both exercise and work. And let’s be honest—no one wants their chiropractor to be in back pain while they’re treating back pain! Thanks to Pilates, I feel strong in my daily movements and have been able to stay injury-free while treating patients."

✨ What is your current fitness goal?
"To feel strong and to show my kids the importance of moving our bodies."

✨ What is your favorite Pilates exercise?
"The Side Lying Series—but I also love using the magic circle!"

✨ What advice would you give to someone who is trying out Pilates for the first time?
"You can do it! It might feel intimidating to get on the Reformer at first, but the instructors at Club Pilates are fantastic. They’ll walk you through how to use the equipment and make sure you’re moving safely. I’ve always felt supported by my fellow classmates, too!”
